Prom Whales update: 11 whales in one day!

After some wild weather last week, Wilsons Prom Whale Cruises are back on, and so are the whales! On Thursday Sept 5th, our passengers and crew  excitedly watched a pod of 6 humpback whales come up to the boat, including a calf. The adult whales were also seen feeding, whilst another pod of 3 whales were feeding less than 800m away. Another two whales were sighted very close to Notch Island, one of the islands east of Wilsons Prom, where we have been sighting numerous humpback whales on their southerly migration.
