Having a Whale of a Time!

Whales and whale-watchers are having a whale of a time at Wilsons Prom! Now in our third week of cruises, with over 50 humpback whales sighted, the interactions have been mind-blowing.

Pods ranging from 2 to 6 humpback whales have been showing fantastic behaviours including tail slapping, breaching, and spy-hops. Another mugging happened on Sept 7th, when two adult whales with a calf approached the Arafura Pearl, allowing passengers and crew to watch them up close. This experience brought huge smiles to everyone on board!
